You can start with a Free Membership or choose Standard Membership for additional benefits, member pricing, select members-only experiences, early invitations, private website resources, and more.

A Different Kind of Gay Social Community in New Jersey

Garden State Gay Socials was created around friendship and genuine social connection.

Our goal is to give gay men from communities throughout New Jersey opportunities to meet one another through quality social experiences. Instead of centering the organization around dating or hookups, GSGS focuses on friendship, community, activities, conversations, and shared experiences.

Our events can take many different forms. Throughout the year, GSGS may organize social gatherings, day trips, seasonal experiences, recreational activities, food-related outings, outdoor activities, entertainment, and other opportunities for guys to get together.

Some experiences may be open more broadly, while others may be available specifically to GSGS members or Standard Members.

As Garden State Gay Socials continues to grow, membership gives us another way to create experiences for guys who want to become more involved with the community.

Choose the GSGS Membership That Works for You

Not everyone wants the same level of involvement.

Some guys may want to create an account, learn more about Garden State Gay Socials, and participate when an event interests them. Others want early access to select experiences, member discounts, members-only opportunities, and additional ways to participate.

That is why Garden State Gay Socials currently offers two membership levels:

Free Membership

and

Standard Membership

Standard Membership is available with either monthly or annual billing. The core Standard Member benefits remain the same regardless of which billing option you choose.

Garden State Gay Socials Free Membership

Free Membership makes it easy to join the GSGS community without purchasing a paid membership.

There is no charge to become a Free Member.

Free Membership is ideal for someone who is discovering Garden State Gay Socials, wants to stay connected with the organization, or wants to participate in eligible GSGS events and experiences without committing to a paid membership.

• Become part of the GSGS community

• Learn about upcoming GSGS events and activities
• Participate in events and experiences designated as available to Free Members

Free Membership is a starting point for getting involved with Garden State Gay Socials, and it lets you decide how much you want to participate.

If you later want additional access and benefits, you can explore Standard Membership.

Garden State Gay Socials Standard Membership

Standard Membership is designed for guys who want to become more involved with Garden State Gay Socials and receive additional benefits throughout their membership.

Standard Members receive earlier access to select events, discounted pricing on eligible experiences, members-only access, exclusive website resources, and other benefits designed to make participating in GSGS even more rewarding.

Standard Membership is available as either a monthly membership for $24.99 per month or an annual membership for $239.88 per year.

Both options provide the same core Standard Member benefits.

Standard Membership Benefits

First Invitations to Select GSGS Events

Standard Members receive earlier invitations to select Garden State Gay Socials events and experiences before those opportunities are opened more broadly.

For events with limited capacity, getting an earlier opportunity to register can be particularly valuable.

Not every event will require advance or priority registration, but when GSGS designates an experience for early member access, Standard Members receive that opportunity.

Discounted Pricing on Eligible Events

Standard Members can receive special member pricing on select Garden State Gay Socials events.

Event costs vary depending on the activity, venue, transportation, food, entertainment, and other components involved. When Standard Member pricing is available for an eligible event, active Standard Members can take advantage of that discounted rate.

Over the course of a year, members who regularly participate in GSGS experiences may find that event savings add additional value to their membership.

One Complimentary Quarterly Hike

Standard Members can participate in one complimentary GSGS quarterly hike as part of their membership benefits.

Our outdoor experiences provide another way to meet other guys, have conversations, enjoy New Jersey, and spend time together in a casual environment.

Access to Standard Members Only Pages

Standard Members receive access to designated private areas of the Garden State Gay Socials website.

These pages are separate from the publicly accessible portions of the website and provide additional information, opportunities, and resources specifically for active Standard Members.

As GSGS continues to grow, our private member areas can grow with the organization.

Exclusive Standard Member Resources

Standard Membership includes access to additional resources and information developed specifically for Standard Members.

These resources may evolve as Garden State Gay Socials expands its membership, activities, partnerships, and member experiences.

Select Members Only Events and Experiences

Certain Garden State Gay Socials events and experiences may be designated specifically for members or Standard Members.

This allows GSGS to develop experiences for guys who have chosen to become more involved with the organization.

Members-only opportunities may include seasonal activities, special gatherings, recreational experiences, outdoor activities, or other social events developed for the GSGS membership community.

Standard Monthly Membership

$24.99 Per Month

The Garden State Gay Socials Standard Monthly Membership provides all core Standard Member benefits while maintaining the flexibility of month-to-month billing.

This option can be a good fit for someone who wants the additional benefits of Standard Membership without paying for an entire year upfront.

Standard Monthly Members receive the same core Standard Member access and benefits as annual members.

Monthly Member Welcome Kit

Standard Monthly Members become eligible for the GSGS Welcome Kit after maintaining six consecutive months of active paid Standard Membership.

This recognizes members who maintain their membership while allowing GSGS to provide the Welcome Kit as part of an established paid membership relationship.

Standard Annual Membership

$239.88 Per Year

The Garden State Gay Socials Standard Annual Membership provides the same core Standard Member benefits with the added value of paying for an entire year upfront.

At $239.88 per year, the annual membership works out to an effective rate of $19.99 per month.

Compared with paying $24.99 each month for 12 months, an Annual Standard Member saves $60 per year.

For someone who expects to remain involved with Garden State Gay Socials throughout the year, annual membership provides a simple way to maintain Standard Member access while receiving the lower effective monthly rate.

Annual Member Welcome Kit

Because Annual Standard Members pay for their full year of membership upfront, they receive the GSGS Welcome Kit as part of their Annual Standard Membership rather than waiting six consecutive months.

Monthly or Annual: The Benefits Remain the Same

Choosing monthly or annual billing does not determine your level of Standard Member access.

Both are Standard Memberships.

The primary differences are how you pay for your membership, the effective monthly cost, and when you receive your Welcome Kit.

Monthly membership provides greater payment flexibility at $24.99 per month.

Annual membership provides a lower effective monthly rate of $19.99 when you pay the $239.88 annual membership upfront, saving $60 compared with 12 months at the regular monthly rate.

Membership Privacy Matters to Us

Privacy is important at Garden State Gay Socials.

GSGS does not publish its membership list.

Becoming a Free Member or Standard Member does not mean your membership will be displayed publicly on our website.

We believe individuals should be able to participate in Garden State Gay Socials while maintaining appropriate control over their privacy.

Our membership program is about participation, friendship, community, and access to experiences. It is not about publicly identifying who has joined.
